If we exceed the promised delivery time by 40 minutes we will give you 20% discount on your bill. The Colour in Food Regulation 1995
Under the above legislation concerning colours in food, certain foods should not contain artificial colours. These rules apply to foods sold by restaurants and takeaways, as we sell as food sold in retail shops.
Recent research suggests that excess artificial colours in food pose a potential long-term health hazard to consumers who may, as result, suffer a skin rash, gastric, vomiting, a worsening of asthma, etc.
As a health-conscious food establishment we have stopped using, even in minimal quantities, the usual artificial colours in Pilaw rice and all the Tandoori and Tikka dishes. Now these dishes may look different in colour but taste will remain exactly the same as usual.
ESSENCE: CHILLIES (Hot stuff) : Chillies not only fire up your food, they also provide a variety of health benefits. Chillies, a tonic to the digestive and circulatory systems, are also useful in treating chilblains. They can help to relive indigestion and are useful in clearing the mucus from airways, so relieving congestion. The active ingredients in a chilli have been shown to stimulate the brain to produce endorphins, which can induce a natural high. As well as creating a feel good factor, many cultures claim they are aphrodisiacs. Studies have also shown that chillies are an excellent source of vitamin C and can also help treat colds.
RICE: We serve WHLOEGRAIN BROWN RICE which is more flavoursome and retains the bran layer after minimal milling, so that brown rice contains much more vitamins, minerals and fibre than white rice, and is therefore much more nutritious. Although white rice, which we do not serve, is very low in fibre, some of the starch is resistant to digestion and acts like dietary fibre. The starch in WHOLEGRAIN BROWN RICE is digested and absorbed slowly, thereby providing a steady release of glucose into the blood, which helps control blood sugar levels. Rice has long been used as a natural medicine to treat digestive disorders, from indigestion to diverticular disease. Research now also suggests that eating wholegrain brown rice will reduce the risk of bowel cancer.

1. Cutting down on fat is easier than you would think, if you trim obvious fat away from meat foods, if you have them cooked or grilled instead of fried - so we do the same for you.2. To keep yourself fit and healthy choose high-fibre food such as BROWN RICE, nan or chupati bread, etc, baked with BROWN FLOUR, as often as your can. Most vegetables have fibre too - so our rice and flour are BROWN.

We will then cook your curry without it, or with a lesser amount as you prefer. "Studies have shown that raw garlic taken regularly id good for your heart. Cooking garlic reduces the effect, so large quanties would b3e needed to have the same effect." - Royal Sussex County Hospital. So we use large quantities in our cooking.
SPICES USED BY SPICE NUTRIMENT
"The fragances of exotic spices have been prized since, the dawn of civilization. Today, spices and seeds are still valued for their culinary and medical properties". Foods That Harm, Foods That Heal - Readers Digest Ltd, London 1996
Practitioners of alternative medicine have been ascribed specific health benefits to certain spices. They are all specially used by Spice Nutriment (UK) Ltd. With their distinctive colours and flavours spices stimulate the appetite and enhance our enjoyment of food.
